What is Love?

This can be a great journal prompt! Grab a notebook and pen.

We can re-write our love stories. Love begins inside yourself. Love is within. No matter your story or whether or not you have had a past where people knew how to show you love, your first love story is your Creator loving you enough to breathe life into you. The second is you learning to breathe life into yourself.

For me, love is:

*feeling cherished
*being forgiven
*feeling heard
Or how about
*someone who is there for you without judgement
*a person who believes in you
*someone who performs acts of kindness and compassion
*someone who supports my endeavors
*but gives me honest feedback
*someone who offers hugs or gentle touches

What is love to you? How are you learning to love yourself? How are you re-writing the love story within you?

Start by penciling yourself in every day:

Pencil yourself in each day!

Put it on your calendar to sit and breathe. To practice being present. Schedule it just like you do your work appointments, doctors appointments, kids events, book club, and date night. You are worthy of fitting YOURSELF into your daily bookings!
