Ayurveda and yoga are both ancient healing wisdoms.
Ayurveda can be broken down into Ayus which means life and Veda which means knowledge, wisdom, or truth. Yoga and Ayurveda are some of the oldest #healing systems originating over 5000 years ago as a holistic way of living in harmony with the laws of nature with the objective of maintaining #health and preventing disease.
Ayurveda and yoga work together to help us find a state of #balance among the bodies 3 energies or doshas. Doshas translates as deviations. They help us find balance of body mind and soul. Ayurveda and yoga therapy include diet, rest, #lifestyle, exercise, meditation, breath work, herbs, and programs for healing, body, mind and spirit. We are so excited to share the workshop- Practical Wisdom of Ayurveda and Yoga with you coming up on November 16th, 2024!
What You’ll Learn
This 3 hour introductory workshop will include everything you need to begin a path to better health using Ayurvedic and simple yoga techniques. This introductory course will teach you how to identify your biological energies and yoga practices that will help you maintain balance and health. Plus diet recommendations and lifestyle adjustments to balance your bodies natural rhythms.
We will share how you can learn more about your individual body and how your unique nature can thrive with the principles of Ayurveda and Yoga. Learn how to understand your body type, what foods or daily routines may bring tendencies towards imbalances or illness, how to understand your loved ones health, yoga practices to balance the physiology, and more!
