Five Tips for Becoming Pain Free

After healing hundreds of chronic pain clients, as well as my own chronic pain, I’ve realized that most of us don’t understand where to begin or how to recover and take control of our pain. I suffered from chronic pain for years, seeing doctor after specialist and having never ending appointments. Only to have doctors say, “there is nothing wrong with you, but here are some pills.” That’s why I created my five tips for becoming pain free.

I decided I had to be my own advocate for my pain and take matters into my own hands. And that meant doing some hard work and uncovering the root of my pain. This led me to yoga therapy, a holistic path. As well as the understanding of how pain works in the body, brain, and our nervous system. This is where I found the answer to healing is not in simply dealing with the physical body or location of pain. Rather it was a matter of changing some things in my lifestyle that weren’t giving my body and nervous system the opportunity to heal. And today I am back to doing all the things I love and only seeing a doctor for routine care and preventative medicine. And that is just how I like it. You can change your pain too.

As a yoga therapist, I am here to be your guide on the journey to healing. Through one on one sessions I can work with you to create an individualized treatment plan and make lifestyle changes to feel better in your body.
